Old Temple Money, Standard Weight and Standard Length
The Old Temple money was based on a pre-mercantile economy. In those days,
the Temples decreed that the measures of length and weight and wealth all
use the same measures involving individual links of chain. While this system
still holds sway for length and weight, it no longer holds sway for wealth.
This is due to the influence of the Jigoen concepts of the decimalization of links
or coins. Chains are no longer made, and the coins themselves only bear a superficial
resemblance to the links that they represent. Here is the complete method for
the Temple Measures:

Calendar
There are 27 stels (days) in a
majoran (the Danukorian equivalent of a month), this being very
nearly the orbital period of the larger moon, Majora. The lesser
moon, Minora, not much larger than a trapped asteroid, has a tidally
locked orbital period of almost exactly 81 days. The stellora (year)
is broken in to 5 minorans (seasons), based on Minora’s orbital
cycles, and each minoran is broken into 3 majoran, each of which has 3 niners (weeks). Starting at
the beginning of the year with Yaklith (Cold Season), then Quishig
(Wet Season), then Sutzvoze (Warm Season), then Sutzvith (Hot
Season), and then last Yakloze (Cool Season). By Royal Decree the
calendar has been broken free of the literal coincidence with the
moons, and is closely aligned now with the stellar cycle, matching up
Danukoria’s apogee with the Frigid Festival. This begins with Zero
Stel, the zeroth stel of the stellora, and continues for the duration
of the first niner of Yaklith. Zero Stel is the extra stel needed so
that the stellora which has 405.93 stels can be reconciled with the
majorans and minorans, keeping the calendar “tidy” and as such is
not considered a stel of the first majoran of Yaklith minora. The stels of the niner
are called: Vazva (first's first), Vazte (first's second), Vazlu (first's third), Tekva (second's first), Tekte (second's second), Teklu (second's third), Ludva (third's first), Ludte (third's second)
and Ludlu (third's third). Ludlu is generally regarded as a stel that is spent on
personal and religious endeavors, rather then working for an employer, making it
usual for most middle and upper class to have a “work niner” of
eight stels, with Ludlu off. This has given rise to the term “Ludlu
Lolling” which is sometimes used in the same fashion as
“day-dreaming”.
